St. Francis Parish Spearheads Vocation Retreat

Saint Francis Parish in Yuma spearheaded a vocation retreat for grades 3-8 on November 11, 2023. It was held on the grounds of the parish. Fourteen young people from both St. Francis and Immaculate Conception Parishes joined in a light lunch, ice breakers, Scripture Relay Race, a Following the Path to Jesus game, writing a letter to God and adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Hopefully some seeds were planted on what it means to follow Jesus in discerning a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Mary Beth Kornely, Sister Anne Mary Hart, SIster Janet Rose and Sister Mary Teresa Bettag assisted with the event.
