Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were not only present for Immaculate Conception School 7th Annual Run with the Nuns in Yuma, Arizona! They did some of the running!
The Run with the Nuns 5K was started in 2014 as a way to both fundraise and promote a healthy lifestyle.
We gathered at Gateway Park directly below the Hilton Garden Inn Yuma Hotel to join together for 5K competitive run or fun walk. It was followed by food and drinks, and an awards ceremony.
Registration started at 8:00AM- 8:45AM on January 25. Runners began at 8:45AM with walkers to follow. Not a surprise, Sister Mary Teresa Bettag came in first in her category and third overall.
