Franciscan Sister Bikes for Dorothy Day Outreach Center

Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Mary Ann Spanjers shares on a recent biking experience benefiting Dorothy Day Outreach Center at Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA.

I was blessed to participate in the 13^th annual Dorothy Day Charity Bicycle Ride organized by a long-time friend, Br. Shamus McGrenra, TOR. This year the ride was on bicycle trails in the Allegheny Mts near Ebensburg, PA, Ohiopyle and White’s Ferry, MD. All proceeds are for the Dorothy Day Outreach Center in Loretto, PA. We did a total of about 200 miles with many different participants!

“May her life inspire your people to turn to Christ as their Savior, to see His face in the world’s poor, and to raise their voices for the justice of God’s kingdom.”
