Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Rosalyn Muraski and Sister Carla Riach represented the Tucson Sisters in the Wa:k Community’s Trunk and Treat on October 27th. We were accompanied by Paulette Green. “Heaven in a Trunk” was our theme and we dressed as angels. We even won the contest for costumes of a group. Our trunk contained statutes of Saints.
A steady stream of trick or treaters visited our trunk and received a glow stick halo and candy. It was great to see whole families together having fun. Sister Rosalyn saw most of her students from the after-school program and Sister Carla saw Religious Education families.
Mihn Solorazano, our school principal had a trunk and gave out flyers about the school reopening along with candy. Our friend, Manny Martinez dressed as Mickey Mouse and contributed candy to our trunk.
