Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity happily volunteered for the recent Immaculate Conception Catholic School Barbecue. We assisted with raffle tickets and other booths, as well as enjoyed the barbecue ourselves. It was a fundraiser, but also a community builder.

Our Sisters serving at St. Andrew Parish, Sierra Vista were able to come for the weekend to not only visit with us, but were able to catch up with people of the parish that they knew. On Saturday they were able to take in some moments of the Taco Fest in town.

Of course, the weather was sunny. The entertainment was light-hearted. All were appreciative for the support shown for Catholic education and the friendships fostered through working together.
