Recently, Franciscan Sister Mary Beth Kornely celebrated her 50th anniversary of Religious Profession with the St. Francis Catholic School children, faculty and staff in Yuma, Arizona.
The Eucharist was the focus of the remembrance of Sister’s special jubilee of giving her life to God. Sister Mary Beth renewed her vows of poverty, chastity and obedience during the Mass for all to hear.
She also brought a special bouquet of flowers to the statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the sanctuary of the church.
A special luncheon was celebrated after school with faculty and staff.
