Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Johnecheck reflects on the welcoming spirit of the Pima (Akimel O’odham) children on the Gila River Reservation. St. Peter Mission School completed Parent/Teacher conferences in the last weeks. The school year is well on the way.

The free, welcoming spirit of the Pima children on the Gila River Reservation is truly inspirational. In many ways, it reflects how God wants us to welcome and open our hearts to Him with that same fearless, free, and welcoming manner.
