Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Carla Riach, Sister Rosalyn Muraski and Sister Mary Ann Spanjers joined in anticipation of the feast of the Assumption at San Xavier Mission Saturday with a procession, celebration of the Eucharist on the hill by the grotto, rosary and delicious Indian tacos.
The Magnificat speaks well of our experience. “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me and holy is his Name.”
May our Blessed Mother intercede for the needs of the Tohono O’ odham people of San Xavier and all of us!
