Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity serving in Yuma, Arizona celebrated with the Santo Niño Society recently. It was the 21st annual Señor Santo Niño Feast. There was a lively procession in Immaculate Conception Church to pray for special intentions.

This religious image of the Christ Child  is oldest Catholic relic in the Philippines, originally given in 1521. It was a gift by explorer Ferdinand Magellan to Rajah Humabon and his wife as a baptismal gift. It continues to be a precious gift choice at the time of a child’s baptism for families in Yuma.
