Franciscan Sister Mary Ann Spanjers shares experience of teaching at San Miguel High School, Tucson, Arizona, at this time during the pandemic.

San Miguel High School is in a somewhat hybrid mode; the freshman and sophomores have had the choice to be on campus on Mondays and Tuesdays/ Wed & Thurs.

Sister Mary Ann’s junior theology students have had the option of being in person 4 times since April. The majority of students continue to be online, but it is a joy to have some students in-person. We continue to pray that all get vaccinated to bring this pandemic under control. The Hispanic students from San Miguel have experienced a high number of sicknesses and deaths in their families. We continue to pray to Our Blessed Mother for all those affected by Covid.
