After 21 years at Catholic Yuma High School, Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Alexandra Bettinardi’s will be moving back to Wisconsin. School personnel and friends honored her for her dedicated service since the beginning of the school in 2000 starting with a Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish for her intentions on a Saturday evening.

Father Emilio Chapa, pastor of St. Francis Parish in Yuma, concluded with a special blessing for her. This was followed by a lovely reception and buffet dinner at the high school with school personnel and friends.

Principal Rhett Stallworth presented her with a parting gift and tribute. She has touched many people during her years in Yuma and will be missed greatly.
