Life is always precious and fragile. It is a gift from our God! There is no doubt about that! In the desert, however, life seems particularly fragile. Greenery is sparce. Water is limited.
On the reservation there is often violence due to drugs and alcohol. Honoring how precious life is seems especially important. Saint Peter school crowns and gives gifts to each of the students on their birthday. Thank you Lord for life!
